• Grand, Grand Paris! (2024) by architects Ewa Effiom and Margarida Waco forms a multi-modal reading of the transport infrastructures that encircle Paris. Amid the grandiose proclamations of the positive impact of urban progress, the ecological entities – both human and otherwise – that traverse, occupy and dwell within the perimeters of this infrastructural space in flux, are often overlooked. Whether intentionally, or not, this omission ignores the short-term implications of urban development in the name of collective good.
